Breeding Capital

Founded in 2005 by William Sporborg and Simon Marsh, Breeding Capital enables private individuals to invest in a global portfolio of well managed, high quality bloodstock assets.  Breeding Capital has the benefit of an experienced management team with a proven track record and the principal objective is to deliver positive financial returns to investors in the medium term.  Breeding Capital is also committed to maintaining a significant investor relations programme, with monthly updates and an annual Open Day.  Shares rank as "eligible shares" for the purposes of the Enterprise Investment Scheme, with its attendant tax benefits.

Currently Breeding Capital has four different companies.  Breeding Capital PLC raised £3.2 million in 2006 and is closed for further investment.  Its successes include the sale of Madura, Erytheis and Leto for a total consideration of over 1.6 million guineas, twelve months after they had been purchaseed for under 500,000 guineas.  Breeding Capital II, III and IV together raised £5 million in 2008.  They too are closed having been oversubscribed and the funds are currently being invested.  It is the intention to raise further funds in early 2011.
